Our Pastor is the tall person with the penciled in mustache and goatee!

Pastor Tom was "called" by our congregation to be our pastor in May of 1998. Born in Indiana, Pastor Tom grew up in a family with both Catholic and Protestant faith traditions. Pastor Tom and his wife, Pam have three adult children. His hobbies include running, golf, playing the guitar and wood carving.

Our pastor earned a B.A. degree in philosophy and theology from Indiana University and graduated from Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City with a degree of Masters of Divinity. He completed his Clinical Pastoral Education as Chaplin from Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

After careers in both retail sales and  manufacturing, Pastor Tom was called to full time ministry. Before coming to First Baptist Church Highland, he served as Dean of Students and Director of Enrollment at Central Baptist Theological Seminary.
